“Being part of a Catholic Worker community challenges me to more intentionally search for ways of incorporating Gospel living into the fabric of my life. This includes deepening my spiritual grounding; reflecting on and responding to systemic injustices like poverty, racism, and militarism; reaching out to those on the margins of our society and creating mutual relationships with them; and considering my connection to the earth and my call to be a steward of creation.” -Kristen Schenk, Casa Alma
